Welcome!

Chances are that, if you’re here, you may already have a decent idea of who I am. Maybe I appeared on your social media feed holding a bird? I might have popped up on your TV talking about birds? Or perhaps you even read my book where I wrote about, you guessed it, birds.

However, if you’re new here, it’s a pleasure to meet you! I’m Jack, an ornithologist, licensed bird ringer, keen naturalist and bird obsessed content creator.

I also love talking about birds and nature IRL (in real life, for those of you who might not be quite as down with the kids as I am) and this website is a place for you to see what events I’m running to come and join me as I do just that.

I’ll be leading guided walks around the country throughout the year, and running bird ringing sessions in my corner of Derbyshire that you can come along and be a part of.
